Our speciality is welsh gifts & welsh crafts

The welsh shop was first launched in 2002 because, quite simply, there was no real welsh presence on the web. As these things do it began more of a project than a business enterprise but it was not long before it developed into something quite big.

Based out of our craft shop unit in Tredegar House, Newport the focus of the shop is purely internet based and as such we are able to service customers from all over the world from the USA to Honk Kong, South Africa and Australasia. .

In the early years we focussed more on the most sought after welsh gifts like Welsh Dolls, Welsh Flags, Welsh Miners lamps and the like however we are now moving into more top-of-the-range products with the aim of making the welsh shop the online high end destination for all things welsh.

In addition to helping promote welsh manufacturers and showcase welsh craft makers, we have also developed a range of welsh mugs and welsh T shirt designs in house that have proven to be pleasingly successful. They vary from Wales Grand slam celebration designs, of which we have a quite a few given welsh rugby's success over the last decade, to our Grunge and Trendy designs for the young welsh who are proud at heart. Our welsh mug range is also very diverse which include the "Welsh Dialect" range that have always been firm favorites of our customers.

As for the future, we aim to keep growing the welsh shop and adding new products to delight, inspire and celebrate Wales, its people and their achievements.
